It was a fantastic Christmas!

It has been our most wonderful Christmas season ever! We have had so much fun with our little Christmas angel this year! Jack had fun with all of the family around and TONS of presents! Santa must have thought he was a very good boy this year!!!
Christmas Eve was really special with the three of us and Great Granny! We had a very nice meal with all of the Christmas china and sat up and enjoyed waiting for Santa! Christmas morning was so much fun! Jack loved all of his new toys and books from Santa! While Granny and Mommy were making monkey bread in the kitchen....there was a knock at the back door! Nannie and Ugga surprised us and drove up to be in Atlanta at 7:30am for Jack's first Christmas! It was so special!!! Granny and Poppa got here around 2pm and we spend the entire afternoon celebrating together and had a big turkey dinner around 5:00! It was our perfect day!
All of our company is gone, and we are relaxing this week and getting ready to go back to work and get back into a routine! Mommy starts work back on January 7! She will miss her little man so much, but he is going to do so great with his nanny, Brittney!
We are going to spend a lot of time together this week playing, cleaning, and organizing some things around the house! We can't believe it's almost 2009! How exciting!

Santa will be here soon!

We have been celebrating the holidays in a big way!!!! We have had lots of family come to visit and we love it! It has been so fun having a house full of people at Christmas! Jack has loved it! He is just on the move now and entertaining us everyday! He has gotten so many great presents so far, it is hard to imagine that Santa will have anything left to bring him!
Devin, Nadiene, Dylan, Sarah, and Tessa came over last Sunday night to hang out and enjoy some Christmas cheer! The kids were so cute together!!! Mimi and Papa Frank were here this week, and Grandbubba and Aunt Denise were here this weekend! We even got a surprise visit from Aunt Sally, John, and Sarah on Saturday!!! We also went up to Dahlonega last night to celebrate Christmas with the Buffington family at Aunt Trixie's house! It was so much fun and Jack loved playing with his second cousins!
Great Granny gets here tomorrow and we are so excited!!!
We have lots of pictures of all of our fun and we can't wait for Christmas to get here!!!!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

We are having a fantastic holiday season!!! Jack got to meet Santa again at Phipps this week! He has seen him twice! Hopefully Santa knows what to bring little bit this year! We had our annual Christmas Dinner Club here at home last night! We had 3 little ones this year and two on the way! I wonder how it will be next year with 5!!!!!! The kids were so great last night and SOOOOOOOOOO cute! We had a great time and exchanged ornaments and cookies as always!

The other big news is that our Christmas baby crawled for the first time last night! Aunt ML was there to help!!! She asked if Jack was crawling and we said, "Well, he is getting close..." She looked down and said, "Well, isn't that crawling?!" And there he was crawling for the first time! It must have been all the excitement!
We had a visit from Nannie and Ugga (Ann and Scott) this week too, and that was so much fun!!! We are getting ready for Mimi and Papa Frank to get here Wednesday...followed by Grandbubba and Aunt Denise on Friday! We love having everyone here for the holidays!
Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas and check out our latest pictures!

Jack meets Santa!!!

We had the BEST time with Santa this morning! A group of our neighbors got together for a breakfast with Santa! The kids LOVED it and Santa had presents for everyone! Jack was so interested in him!

We also have the house decorated for the holidays and Jack had fun helping pick out his first Christmas tree! Daddy put a train under the tree and he thinks that is so fun to watch and help out with (You will see several pictures with Jack holding the remote!)
Our December has started out fabulous and magical! We can't wait for Christmas to get here!

We also have two bottom teeth!!! One came in last Saturday and one yesterday!

My First Thanksgiving

We had the BEST Thanksgiving! Jack was so happy to get to spend the day with family! The boys fried a turkey for the third year in a row! We had an amazing dinner at Granny and Poppa's house and went to visit with Hossie later in the afternoon! Jack was quite the performer all weekend and smiled at everyone he saw! He was so happy!
We also celebrated Aunt Jennifer's birthday on Wednesday night at "The Hat" in Gainesville! Jack flirted with most of the people around him and loved sitting in Aunt Jennifer's lap! He even helped her open a few gifts!
As you can see from some of the pictures...our little man has a new smile! He grins as wide as he can showing all of his gums! He thinks it is very funny! We do too! He also loves to stand on the couch and hold on to the back cushions...yet another thing that he thinks is really funny! Basically, as long as someone is watching him...he thinks whatever he is doing is funny! We are loving every minute of it!

We are going to get our Christmas tree today and finish putting up some of the decorations! We are so excited about the holidays this year with our little holiday angel!

Big Baby Jack and Class Reunions!

We are having a GREAT November! The weather is awesome...a little chilly at times though! Saturday morning was 19! Yikes! Jack is looking cute in his little blue coat! Dylan came over to play one night! We had lots of fun! We went to Katie's 10 year high school reunion this weekend and got to see Cousin Jade and his three boys at Hossie's! It was a great weekend! We can't wait for Thanksgiving this week! It's our favorite!

Jack had a cough this week but it is feeling much better! He weighed 18 lbs. 7ozs. Wednesday when we went to see Dr. G! What a big boy!

He is really starting to rock on hands and knees and is ready to start moving! We dont think it will be much longer before he is crawling...but we are not rushing it! He is banging his toys together and playing his drum! He is also starting to hold his hands high over his head and smile really big when we say, "How big is the baby??? SOOOOOOOOOO Big!" He thinks he is too funny doing that!

We are starting to get the Christmas stuff out and will be a full blown Christmas wonderland this time next week! It is so exciting to think about our first holidays with our little man! He is just so wonderful!
