We are having a really fun Halloween weekend! Jack has gotten to celebrate SEVERAL times over the past few days! Our little dinosaur has gotten to wear his costume lots! Thank you again to Aunt Denise for another year of great costumes! AND Aunt "Neese" got to come up and celebrate with us!
On Friday Jack had two parties! One at school and one for MOMS Club. From the pictures you can tell that there was a lot of eating going on at these parties! He had fun and I loved getting to take him!

On Saturday we played outside, went to a birthday party and then went to a fun "Happy Hour" in the neighborhood to celebrate Halloween! The kids were so cute and it is so fun to have such a great group live close!  Jack, as usual, did not get out of the bouncy house very much. He LOVES to jump! He was also especially happy that his buddy Lauren came to celebrate too! We went trick or treating last night and it was so fun to watch him really get it this year. He would run up and knock on the door and say "Trick or Treat"! He did get a few pieces of candy last night! He loved it! He and Lauren kept saying, "ONE more piece?! I NEED candy!" I guess it starts early! They know a good thing when they have it!

It was such a fun weekend! The weather has been perfect and we are planning to have a really fun Sunday playing together!

Anticipation.....

I think this is one of the more amazing times of our lives.... The anticipation of Lucy coming is so much fun! We are reaching the end of our pregnancy and there are so many things to think about! How will it happen? What will it be like? What will she look like? Will she be like Jack? Will she sleep? Will she be happy? Where will I be when I go into labor? Will she come early like Jack? How will Jack react to her? What will it be like to be a family of four?

Like all things... I know this is a short-lived experience. Time continues to fly by! I am sure that we will be sitting there with Lucy and Jack and wonder what in the world our lives were like before she was here. That is so hard to grasp right now when all we know is our life as three. But right now...it's so fun to think about!
Anticipating her arrival is like waiting on Christmas..... times 1000! We are so excited about what is about to happen. We are so thankful that we have had such a healthy pregnancy so far and are really praying for a healthy labor, delivery, and sweet little girl. I love to day dream about her and look forward to meeting her. I am also SUPER excited about labor and delivery. I know I am one of the stranger women out there that LOVED the experience and can't wait to do it again. Oh let's hope it goes well...or I might not be that woman anymore!
We have finished up Lucy's room with the exception of a few details! It looks cute and we LOVE the pink! We also finished up the kid's bathroom which now looks like a bathroom for a little girl and a little boy! The car seat and all the papasan are all clean and ready for her...A LONG to do list is slowly getting all checked off....
What a fun time in our lives.... now the question is....when will we meet our newest little angel? Please just let time slow down..... this part is fun!

We had another fun Fall weekend! Jack and I headed to Gainesville on Friday afternoon to stay with Nunno and Poppa. You would not believe how much Jack loves being there....However, if I was a toddler and my grandparents were that much fun, I would want to go there too! Nunno and Poppa play with him so much and have so much fun with him! Poppa finished putting up one of the swings in the backyard on Saturday night! With 5 grandchildren (two of them arriving next month), they wanted some swings for the yard! Jack was THRILLED when he got to go out and swing "higher PLEASE"! Poppa, Jack, and I went to Jaemor Farms on Saturday morning and Jack had lots of fun! He got to pet animals, ride a pony (well, a large horse actually), play with some pumpkins and run around outside. Daddy got to Gainesville on Saturday night and we all got up for our annual trip to Burt's Farm on Sunday morning. It lived up to the expectations again! We had such a great time! Jack thought all the pumpkins were an obstacle course and LOVED the hayride! He could not wait to "Ride on the Tractor"! Nunno made a great picnic lunch and we ate right next to the creek! After we ate, Jack went down to the creek to see the water and throw rocks to make big splashes with Poppa! He had so much fun! It was a perfect day!
Daddy, Jack, and I had some pictures made on Sunday afternoon in Gainesville! I have a few of them and can't wait to get the rest!
We also got to keep Anna last Monday while Anneke and Britt were working! Jack and Anna had lots of fun together and the two of them could not have been any more well behaved! It was so much fun!

Enjoy our pictures! There are two slide shows so check out both!

The Leonard's LOVE Fall!

It is that time of year again that we talk about...well, all year! We love October! It's just such a great time! Everything (our house with all the candles) smells like pumpkin spice, the mornings are really cool, the afternoons are sunny and clear, we sleep with the windows open, bake pumpkin pies (oh, how we love them), visit LOTS of Fall festivals, start making soups, get out the Fall decorations, and spend lots of time outside! We just love it!
Our October has started off so great! Last weekend, we went to the Greek Festival with the Coopers (3rd or 4th year in a row) on Friday night and had so much fun. It was the first year that Caroline and Jack could actually get on some of the rides... and they had a blast! They rode a little train (that actually went pretty fast), jumped in the bouncy house, and went down a really big slide all by themselves! Saturday was Morgan's birthday party (Yet another bouncy house that Jack wanted to stay in the whole time). I had two great showers over the weekend with some really great friends! Saturday was a fun get together with the neighborhood girls. I feel so very lucky to have such a great group of girls right here in the neighborhood. They are so great and they were very excited about Lucy getting here! On Sunday... Julie, Elizabeth, Ruby, and Joy had a great shower for me at Julie's house. It was a small group and we spent most of the time talking about the kids and our husbands (how fabulous they are, of course?!). It is a great feeling to have my closest friends around me and for them to be so excited about Lucy coming. It's also fabulous to get together during the day and eat cake and talk with girls with no kids running around! I am thinking about putting togthter some "Showers" once a month!

This weekend has been amazing. (We, of course miss Jack TERRIBLY...but!) Jack has been with Nunno and Poppa since Thursday night. He absolutely LOVES it up there with them...so really, Steven and I are just sacrificing for his happiness right? Anyway, Steven and I have had the best time. We both had Friday off and spent the day running errands. We had a fun breakfast date and then ran all over Atlanta running errands...that may not sound like tons of fun, but it was so much fun to us! We ended at Costco and got a pizza to take home! Yesterday, we stayed home working on projects all day! We finally showered around 4:30, ran a few more errands and went to dinner! We are now enjoying our mornings of coffee and quiet!
We got so much done!!! We put up all the new stuff in the kids bathroom, put up all the decals on Jack's wall to make it look like "Jack's Landing Strip", hung up pictures and frames in Lucy's room, set up our wireless internet (which is allowing me to sit and drink coffee with Steven and update the blog!), got out all the "baby" stuff from the attic and cleaned it, cleaned up the house, did lots of Christmas shopping, ,and ran a TON of errands! Whew! We may spend the rest of the morning not doing much of anything!

It's a great time of year and we are loving it! Next weekend we are going to Gainesville and going to Bert's Farm on Sunday! One of our FAVORITE traditions! Now...back to coffee time!

Check our our new pictures!
