Sweet baby girl!

Loving Bubble bath time with Neese!

WHOA! I have foam on my head!

We had such a fun time last week when Aunt Mimi came to visit! Jack had a blast with her! We baked Valentine's Day cookies and decorated for Valentine's Day (apparently I need to get on it with the decorations for every holiday now as a mom! Lots to learn!)  Daddy was in Las Vegas for work and it was nice to have the company and the help with the kids. On Saturday, Aunt Denise came up for a late Christmas and to meet her sweet new niece! She was instantly in love with the little princess! Jack LOVES when Neese comes to visit! She brought all the stuff for HUGE bubble baths and Toy Story Two. We also played CandyLand for the first time with Jack! With a little help, he won! He was so excited! It was a really fun weekend!
I am getting more comfortable with going out and about with two kids and keeping everyone entertained during the day! Both little ones are doing really great and it helps so much that they are so sweet! Jack is still being such a great big brother. He likes to talk to his baby sister and check on her all the time. Lucy is all smiles these days! She is so happy and it is so fun to listen to her "talk" to us and smile. It seems like every phase of life is "the best and cutest". I feel like I have said that about most all of Jack's phases..but right now is just so funny! The things he tells us and says are hilarious! He keeps us laughing!

This weekend is our first date since Lucy got here! We are so excited! WE are going to the Fox to see West Side Story and Poppa and Nunno are coming to watch BOTH kids! :) Wooo hoooo! We can't wait for a little time just the two of us! It should be so fun!

Here are some new pictures!

Who knew???

....that a shovel can also be a fun snowy ride?! Jack had fun being pulled (Very quickly) across the yard today in Daddy's big shovel!
Yet another day of being snowed in! Not quite as much snow time today since it was very icy and cold! We played inside most of the day, but did make it out to make a snowman (the kids weren't much help...Jack again wanted to eat the snow) and to play in the backyard! We have had such a good time being home together! Lucy has been a really good girl and has enjoyed having everyone home! Her first snow has been spent warm inside! She has been giving us so many fun smiles lately, but I haven't been able to get a good one on the camera!
Not sure what tomorrow will bring...Jack's school is still closed and not sure what Daddy will be doing!

This is fun! Hold on tight!

Going on a shovel ride!

Good friends

Our short snowman!

The boys trying to pose with the snowman..but having more fun sliding down the front of him!

I got a cupcake after dinner!

Warm Lucy!

WOW! That's a lot of SNOW!

I loved sledding!

Hey Everybody! Look at me!

Fun family in the snow!

Throwing snow off the swing set!

Here I go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Princess Lucy spent her day warm inside!

Popcorn in the afternoon!

Lots of snow!

Mommy made snow ice cream!

This is "tasty"!

I am sure most of you know by now that we got LOTS of snow...and ice! It was so pretty coming down last night and really stacked up quickly! I think we got close to 6" but I am not really sure. It is really deep on chairs and yard! It turned over to ice this morning so our snow is covered in about 1/2" of ice. So you really have to stomp to get through it. It really is a mess out there! But it is very pretty and we had a good time today playing outside! It is COLD COLD! :) Lots of neighbors out playing today and Jack had a good time trying to "sled" on a boogy board! Lucy missed her first snow...she stayed warm inside!
We now have a casserole in the oven, watching Mickey Mouse by the fire, and are going to make snow ice cream for dessert! Oh please let the power stay on! It went out earlier for about 5 minutes and it was an awful feeling!
FUN pictures! :)

Lots of Love!

I could roll over if this wall wasn't in the way!!!

Hey Baby Woocy!

Jack just wanting to be next to his little sister!

What are you doing Lucy?

Hmmmm.... does it just come natural?

Hello world!

Here I am!

It's the new year and back to routine and reality! As much as I dreaded it...it is nice to be back into a routine (and not eating so much every day!) Whew! We really lived it up in December. Lots of excuses to not worry about it! We really did have a great December!
It seems like every year gets better than the last! How can you top 2010 though? Lucy was born, Jack turned 2, we went to the beach twice, great trip to Napa, Jack was potty trained and moved into his big boy bed, fun holidays, a 30th and 35th birthday, Poppa turned 60, lots of time with family and friends. It was so much fun! (Believe me..we have the (THOUSANDS) of pictures to prove it)
There is so much to look forward to this year! It is already fun to watch Jack talk to Lucy. It will be so much fun when she reacts to him more.

Kid updates!
Lucy is still doing really great! She is very active and wants to be moving around and kicking her arms and legs any time she is awake! She has rolled over several times (stomach to back)! She is still very bright eyed and looking around.  She tends to get the maddest when she is really sleepy. She will put on quite a show and then quickly pass out in your arms.  She is sleeping from about 9pm-5am most days. It has been pretty consistent for the past week. We are crossing our fingers that she keeps this up. It is so great to get a solid night of sleep.  We are falling into a routine with putting them to bed. Jack goes down around 8pm and Lucy around 9pm. We will slowly move Lucy's bedtime a little earlier when she starts sleeping a little later.

Jack is still talking non-stop most of the time he is awake. He amazes us with the things he says and remembers. He tells us a lot that "Christmas time is over"..and then follows it with "What's next?!" We have lots of make-believe around here too. He thinks that "Baboo" (This horrible scary looking thing on a playing card at Nunno and Poppa's house) is around the corner. Baboo really scares Daddy and Jack thinks that is hilarious.  He also tries to remember which day something happens. He told me that he fell down and got a boo boo on Wednesday at a friend's house (it was actually a Saturday, but just happy that he is trying to put it together).  The director of Jack's school stopped Steven this morning to tell him that they think Jack is just so smart.  He is still really well behaved at school and has not made it to time out yet.   He has loved playing football at school too. He came home last night talking about doing a "Side-step" and how to hold the ball on the laces! He recognizes all of his numbers and letters. He recognizes some names and words. He knows all the days of the week and months of the year. He puts together 24-30 piece puzzles by himself. His favorite things to do are still read books and play with his flash cards.  His small cars and small figures that came with his "digger" are running a close second though.  He talks to them and plays so well independently. It is fun to listen to him and watch him play.  He also LOVES to sing. He sings so many songs! It is fun to listen to hims some nights after we put him to bed! He really sings all the time! Jack loves to give "big hugs and kisses".  This is something I hope he continues to do for a LONG time. We usually have to go into his room one more time each night to "Cover me up!" and give "Big hugs and kisses". Jack loves to hug "Baby Wooocy" all the time and will tell her "It's alright Baby Woocy, don't cry..I got you..I got you." It is so sweet. He likes to see her and lay with her on the activity mat and kiss her good night.   Jack also is learning to talk about his family and who is in his family. It's so sweet to hear him list everyone. He usually then says that family gives big hugs and kisses and we love them "so much".  Jack always says "I love you so much"! He is our sweet little man!

The kids are so cute! Here are a few new pictures of them!
