Yep! We are still here!

Well gracious! It's been awhile, huh? I guess that speaks to our summer! We were busy having fun and being busy! It was an amazing summer filled with so many great memories! From swim team, the beach, LONG days by the pool, fun with neighbors and kicking off the school year!
Jack is LOVING second grade and comes home chatty each day about what he is learning. He thinks the days "are really short" in second grade! He is also in a pilot Leadership program at his school. Two classes in each grade are working on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It's been a great experience and he talks of it a good bit! Jack is back in the swing of things with Cub Scouts (Now a Wolf Cub!!!! And Steven is still his Den Leader which is very happy!) Jack will also start running camp again in a couple of weeks!
Miss Lucy is just doing amazing in Kindergarten and LOVES her teachers and is enjoying being a big kid! She is back into ballet and tap at school and had her first soccer practice on Friday night! She has been beyond excited. She has worn her cleats around the house and literally counted down the minutes until we went to practice Friday!

We made a few trips to Savannah late summer! The kids loved getting to visit and we worked in some actual work meetings into the trips so it was great! We have also had family up here to visit! Mimi and Papa Tilley spent a weekend up here and Nannie came up to visit too! How much fun is that?!
One other really cool thing that happened this summer was a VERY last minute instructor certification for Mommy! WHOA! I am officially a Strong First Instructor. Strong First is the most prestigious kettlebell certification in the world! It was three long and challenging days, but one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It was a huge accomplishment and I am still on a high from it! Steven was so supportive and it was just a once in a lifetime experience! Watch out world!
Steven had a VERY successful sinus surgery a few weeks ago and already can tell a huge difference! He is loving being able to breathe easily and not be so stuffy all the time! We are very happy it went so well and that it is over! Proud of him!!!

Things are great around here and we are back into our routine with school and work schedules! This weekend has been so great to just be at home and hang out! Friday night we went to the Reilly's to play, grill steaks and sit by the firepit! Oh happy day! Saturday we had neighbors over for the WHOLE day! We ate fun snacks, the kids went swimming and we set the TV up outside to watch football! Today we are working on getting Fall decorations out and hanging out with some other neighbors tonight! AND we may be heading out on the lake tomorrow with some friends! Life is happy! We are sprinting to keep up! ;) Check out some catch up pictures!
