Friends and Family!

The last week has been really great! We spent last weekend with wonderful friends! Ansley, Grant, and sweet Hagan came to Georgia to visit! We headed to Gville to spend the weekend with them and the Millers! We had such a great time! The kids were so cute together! We even got some pictures taken of all of us! They are really great!!!! We got home Sunday afternoon and Mimi came to visit! She was here for 3 days and got lots of good time with Jack! He loves his Mimi! Steven and I got to spend the day together on Monday and then went out to a nice dinner! It was really great to get some alone time! He was in Daytona for the race this past week, and we missed him very much! Great Granny was keeping us company while he was away!! She was a big help this week since our nanny got sick! She watched Jack on Thursday and most of Friday! They did great together! We had such a great visit!

Jack is just becoming such a big boy! He eats lots of table food now (which he eats way too fast! He crams several things in his mouth at the same time!) He is still standing up so strong on his own, crawling all the way up the stairs, saying mama and dada all the time! He is clapping his hands and loves to play peek-a-boo! We love every moment we have with our little man!

Mommy's Birthday!

Well, today is my first birthday as a mommy and it has been really great! Very low key with my boys! It was perfect! It was also a BEAUTIFUL day here! It was about 65 and sunny! As you can see from the pictures, we played outside for a little while!

Last weekend was so great with Aunt Anneke in town! The shower was so fun and she looks so cute pregnant! We are so excited about meeting our new family addition in May! Other fun news in the past week.... Our new friend Will Reilly arrived on January 20th, and Rose West arrived on January 31! We are so excited about our new friends and happy the families are doing great!

We can't wait to meet Hagan Erdel next weekend!!! We will be heading to Gainesville to hang out with the Erdels and the Millers! So many fun things happening!

Jack news.... well, he just keeps getting bigger! He is quite the little man! He is standing up really strong by himself, he is feeding himself a lot more, and is just talking away to us! Mama and Dada are some of his favorites right now! Times are good for our little family!

On the Move!!!

January is already flying by! We can't believe it is 2009! We recovered from the holidays and have had a pretty quiet month so far... well, as quiet as it can get with a 9 month old! Jack is definitely ON THE MOVE! He is fast and is all over the place! We find ourselves chasing him around most of the time! He crawls, pulls up on everything, and cruises a little! He has even stood up by himself for a few seconds at a time. He slowly lowers himself down to the ground once he realizes he is standing there!

We have two new top teeth now that are really cute! We had a great visit with Dr. G for his 9 month check up! Jack is looking great! 20lbs. 11oz and almost 29 inches long! He has moved into his big boy car seat and is just growing up way too quickly!!!!

We are so excited that Aunt Anneke is coming home this weekend!!! She can't wait to meet Jack and we can't wait to see her cute belly with Junior growing in there! We are spending the weekend in Gainesville to visit and have a fun shower!

Our little family is doing great and loving every minute together!

It was a fantastic Christmas!

It has been our most wonderful Christmas season ever! We have had so much fun with our little Christmas angel this year! Jack had fun with all of the family around and TONS of presents! Santa must have thought he was a very good boy this year!!!

Christmas Eve was really special with the three of us and Great Granny! We had a very nice meal with all of the Christmas china and sat up and enjoyed waiting for Santa! Christmas morning was so much fun! Jack loved all of his new toys and books from Santa! While Granny and Mommy were making monkey bread in the kitchen....there was a knock at the back door! Nannie and Ugga surprised us and drove up to be in Atlanta at 7:30am for Jack's first Christmas! It was so special!!! Granny and Poppa got here around 2pm and we spend the entire afternoon celebrating together and had a big turkey dinner around 5:00! It was our perfect day!

All of our company is gone, and we are relaxing this week and getting ready to go back to work and get back into a routine! Mommy starts work back on January 7! She will miss her little man so much, but he is going to do so great with his nanny, Brittney!

We are going to spend a lot of time together this week playing, cleaning, and organizing some things around the house! We can't believe it's almost 2009! How exciting!

Santa will be here soon!

We have been celebrating the holidays in a big way!!!! We have had lots of family come to visit and we love it! It has been so fun having a house full of people at Christmas! Jack has loved it! He is just on the move now and entertaining us everyday! He has gotten so many great presents so far, it is hard to imagine that Santa will have anything left to bring him!

Devin, Nadiene, Dylan, Sarah, and Tessa came over last Sunday night to hang out and enjoy some Christmas cheer! The kids were so cute together!!! Mimi and Papa Frank were here this week, and Grandbubba and Aunt Denise were here this weekend! We even got a surprise visit from Aunt Sally, John, and Sarah on Saturday!!! We also went up to Dahlonega last night to celebrate Christmas with the Buffington family at Aunt Trixie's house! It was so much fun and Jack loved playing with his second cousins!

Great Granny gets here tomorrow and we are so excited!!!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

We are having a fantastic holiday season!!! Jack got to meet Santa again at Phipps this week! He has seen him twice! Hopefully Santa knows what to bring little bit this year! We had our annual Christmas Dinner Club here at home last night! We had 3 little ones this year and two on the way! I wonder how it will be next year with 5!!!!!! The kids were so great last night and SOOOOOOOOOO cute! We had a great time and exchanged ornaments and cookies as always!

The other big news is that our Christmas baby crawled for the first time last night! Aunt ML was there to help!!! She asked if Jack was crawling and we said, "Well, he is getting close..." She looked down and said, "Well, isn't that crawling?!" And there he was crawling for the first time! It must have been all the excitement!

We had a visit from Nannie and Ugga (Ann and Scott) this week too, and that was so much fun!!! We are getting ready for Mimi and Papa Frank to get here Wednesday...followed by Grandbubba and Aunt Denise on Friday! We love having everyone here for the holidays!

Jack meets Santa!!!

We had the BEST time with Santa this morning! A group of our neighbors got together for a breakfast with Santa! The kids LOVED it and Santa had presents for everyone! Jack was so interested in him!

We also have the house decorated for the holidays and Jack had fun helping pick out his first Christmas tree! Daddy put a train under the tree and he thinks that is so fun to watch and help out with (You will see several pictures with Jack holding the remote!)

Our December has started out fabulous and magical! We can't wait for Christmas to get here!

We also have two bottom teeth!!! One came in last Saturday and one yesterday!
