We are really loving our early Christmas present... Miss Lucy! Our first week has been so great! Lucy has been a WONDERFUL baby so far (now that can always change...but so far so good!) She is having some great awake times during the day. She is very bright eyed and interested in looking around! She stays happy and alert! She is taking some good long naps in between feedings and doing great at night! She has gone 4.5 hours the past two nights! She is eating around midnight and sleeping until about 4:30, then going back down until 7:30... That is just fabulous! But, like I said.... that can all change! Steven and I have really enjoyed some good time just the two of us from about 10-11:30 at night. I know we should be going to sleep...but it's so nice to just sit the two us together. I remember having that time right after Jack was born. And..speaking of Jack...he is being such a GREAT big brother! He is really interested in helping change Lucy's diaper and we talk a lot about what big boys can do and what babies can't do. Big boys can eat cookies and play outside! It's fun to be a big boy! He has been really sweet and we are so proud of him! My goodness, he looks like such a big boy!
Daddy went back to work today and we already miss him so very much! It was so great being home together! Granny is still here with us and is loving her time with her great grandchildren! We hosted our Dinner Club last night, and it was lots of fun! Lucy slept through the whole thing (thank goodness!) and we had fun watching the kids play together. Everyone brought a dish and we spent some good time together. I can't believe there are six children in the group now! We are so blessed!
Jack has his school program this Thursday night and we can't wait to see him sing with his class! Is he really old enough to do that?!
So....here we start our second week as a family of four! We are so in love with our two little angels! It's a wonderful holiday season!!!
