Back to the routine..and a few things not to forget!

It has been nice getting back into routine (and eating and drinking a little less!) Everyone did great with their first week back at school/work! We followed it up with a very laid back weekend at home just the four of us! Friday night was spent at our little pizza place, Saturday night was a date night out for Mommy and Daddy (Thank you fabulous friends for watching the kids!) and today was spent at church and lunch ...followed by some naps! It doesnt get much better!

There are a few things that I really dont want to forget!

*Lucy still demands a bow every morning (actually throughout the day!) She points to her bows and pats her head as soon as you walk in the door. If her bow comes out, she brings it to us to put it back in! I am absolutely loving this because I think she looks precious in her  bows! She also loves to put her shoes on! (This is funny because Jack can just now put his shoes on by himself. He has never had any interest in shoes!)
*The other day Jack was putting a puzzle together after naps. Lucy came downstairs about 20 minutes later from her nap and wanted to play with the puzzle pieces. We told Jack that he had to share or move the puzzle up to the table because Lucy wanted to play with him too. He said, "Can't we just put her back to bed?!" (she had been up about 2 minutes!)
*When we dropped the kids off last night so we could go out to eat, we were standing around talking and Jack said, "Go out on your date NOW! You need to leave!" Obviously he has no separation anxiety! He was ready for us to go!
*Friday night at dinner, our pizza fell off the table (Could have been a combination of being on the edge of the table, being a little slanted, and both of us cutting up pizza for the kids shaking the table) Anyway, Jack kept talking about it and how crazy it was our pizza fell. We told him it was fine that he had his dinner so he could just eat that. He asked another question and then stopped and said, "You know...I am just going to worry about me!" (I wonder where he has heard that before!)

They keep us smiling!
