We have tried to enjoy any time outside when the weather has been nice! We spent one Sunday on a hike by the river and one Saturday we went to Warbington Farms to plant lettuce, see some animals and play outside! We are hoping to make it back there for strawberry picking again once they are ready and ripe! We also had several weeks of REALLY cold weather with a mix of ice and snow! Unfortunately, there wasn't too much accumulation of snow but we did manage to get out and do some sledding before it melted!
We spent a very quick but fun weekend in Savannah to celebrate Mamie's 50 Year Retirement Party! It was such a great time with family! So many of the Leonards came out to celebrate Mamie! We got to visit with Nannie and Ugga, take Granny out to lunch and even got to see the Thorpes!
We are so very proud of Jack and Steven for completing all the requirements for Tiger scouts! Jack has received his Tiger Cub Badge! Steven was an amazing den leader this year for a great group of boys! They had so many fun adventures!
The other very exciting thing is that we decided to go forward with our pool project! It has been so fun to watch and we can't wait to get in the pool this summer! The kids loved seeing the progress and we have even managed to spend a lot of afternoons back there...even when it was empty! Ha! We love our family time in our backyard ..either spent with friends, family or just the 4 of us!
Today we celebrated Easter together at church and then went to Aunt Jenn's to be with the family! The cousins LOVED being together and playing! Aunt Jenn always goes all out with a big egg hunt, baskets for the kids and amazing food! IT was such a happy day! We got home and enjoyed some good down time in the backyard together before everyone crashed out early! We are excited about this week being Spring Break and spending some good time together!
