The Leonards go Camping!!!

Yep- We rented an RV and headed to the mountains! I will admit that I consider myself a wimpy camper. I do love a clean bathroom and nice place to sleep.... BUT I will tell you that our trip to Vogel State Park was one of the happiest times EVER for our family. I can't describe the feeling of having no schedule and no agenda for 3 days! We grilled outside, played in the creek, went for walks, colored in coloring books, worked on a puzzle, watched movies, played putt putt and went exploring! It was so happy and wonderful! I can NOT wait to do it again!
We picked up our RV on Monday afternoon and drove about 1.5 hours to Vogel! We had some rain to deal with but just worked around it when we could and actually had some really nice weather mixed in! Daddy did an awesome job driving the RV and getting us all hooked up at the camp site! We had a firepit, grill, table and all the hook ups needed for the "house on wheels"!
We enjoyed having the whole week off together for Fall Break. We had a low key weekend filled with family time! We watched some football (not so great game by GT), went to the movies, put out our Halloween decorations, and watched some fun Halloween shows! It was a happy week that makes us long for more of them!
The kids have had a great start to the school year! Lucy is loving soccer and Jack is back at it with running and cub scouts! We have had some great weekends at home watching football and hanging with friends! We went to the apple farm with some neighbors and enjoyed lots of apples and pie when we got home! Our schedule starts filling up pretty fast starting this week and cruising through the Fall! It's a fun time of year!
