I love you Andrew!

Just hanging out in my new chair!

Well, somehow it happened again...we are packing up all the North Pole houses and beautiful Santas into their styrofoam again... that happened really quickly! I am literally out of breath from carrying the ornament boxes up and down the stairs... Jack is quietly sleeping (he is absolutely worn out), Daddy is driving Great Granny to Macon to meet my cousin, and I am downloading pictures and trying to get up the motivation to take down the ornaments! We officially "de"-Christmased yesterday for the most part except the tree. Granny was here to help keep Jack entertained while we worked! It's funny how early we want everything out to enjoy it and how quickly we are ready to see it come down after Christmas!
It was truly another magical Christmas for us. From the first bits of the holiday through leftovers last night..it's been great! Jack was so much fun this year and we continued some traditions from years before (Santa at Phipps, monkey bread on Christmas morning, baking sugar cookies, cooking a beef tenderolin for Christmas Eve, spending Christmas Eve evening at our neighbors house, smoking a turkey on the Big Green Egg for Chrismas Day, having family to our house on Christmas Day, Christmas Dinner Club, Breakfast with Santa with neighbors) and definitely added several new ones (Edward the Elf came to visit us this holiday - Jack LOVED him, decorating a gingerbread house together, watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" about 100 times)! We were very fortunate and blessed to spend so much time with family and friends this year. It's very overwhelming to reflect on this past year and how amazing it has been for us. How much fun to think of what next year will be bring! Last year, Jack was just learning to crawl and eat new things...this year he is running around non-stop, talking up a storm, playing, hugging, kissing, and dog-piling with his best friends!
Thank you to everyone that has kept up with our little family this year on our blog and thank you to all of our friends and family that give so much love to us throughout the year. We feel so very blessed and loved!
I would go on and on about all of our Christmas plans, but I will let you see for yourself in all the new pictures!

I am having so much fun!

Boxes are just as much fun as toys!

I love you Daddy!

I love Christmas time!

Jack and Hagan!

I love cookies!

We are continuing our very merry Christmas here at the Leonards! Ansley, Grant, and Hagan came to visit on Friday morning! It was really neat to see Jack and Hagan together! She is too cute!!! We went to see Santa at Phipps on Friday and when we got home, Grandbubba and Aunt Denise were here! You would not believe how much fun Jack had with the two of them! He laughed and screamed and giggled the whole weekend! They chased eachother around the house, tickled, read books, played games, and played with all of his toys! It was so great!!! WE even decorated our first gingerbread house on Saturday afternoon! Jack ate 90% of the gumdrops but managed to get some of the other candy on the house! We celebrated Christmas on Saturday night, and just as last year...the house was overflowing with presents! Jack got so many fun new toys! The motorized fire truck was definitely the hit! We even took it outside in the COLD Sunday morning! He loved it! :)
Last night we went up to Aunt Trixie's to celebrate with the Buffington's! It was fun! Jack loved playing with his second cousins Lily and Douglas! They danced and jumped and tackled eachother! It was cute! Jack kept taking Lily by the hands and dancing with her! I took several pictures! We have video of it too that is too funny!
It's officially Christmas week and we are so excited! All of the shopping is done, but lots of cooking to do! Great Granny and Nannie will be here on Wednesday and Nunno, Poppa, Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Da, and Caitlin will be here Christmas day! We are so excited!
It is a wonderful time of year and we are so very thankful for our friends and family! Our little family celebrating their second Christmas together is just a dream come true!

In the full swing of Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
I will sit here but I am not going to smile!
Christmas Dinner Club 2009!

Caroline, Jack, and Rose!

Jack and Cousin Anna!

Jack helping Daddy with the Choo Choo!

It is that time of year and the Leonards are busy!!!! But we love it! Jack seems to really be enjoying all the holiday cheer! He loves to see anything with "Ho Ho!" on it! We are trying to teach him to say "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas"...and it comes out "Ho! Ho! Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" with an emphasis on the Maaaaaay! But we will take it! The other thing that Jack seems to be obsessed with is his Elf on the Shelf. He named him Edward and he yells for Edward a lot of the day!
Thursday night was the MOMS Club Christmas dinner! It was lots of fun because most of Jack's good buddies were there! He ate several cookies and managed to get down some real food too! Friday we went to the Mable House Christmas Craft Show with Julie and Caroline. The two littles ones were too cute walking down the hall holding hands! Jack just kept reaching for Caroline. We think he likes to protect her! Aunt Anneke and Anna came to visit that day for lunch and the three little ones played very well together!
Saturday morning started out with a birthday party. It was freezing but it did not slow Jack down from jumping in the bouncy house. He LOVED it... his little hands were so red from being cold but he just ran and jumped and laughed! Last night was our annual Christmas Dinner Club! Steven and I spent a lot of the week cooking and baking to get ready! It was soooo much fun! Just such a neat experience with the little ones!
This morning was our second annual breakfast with Santa at the neighbors! All of the kids did really well and Santa was fabulous again! HOWEVER...Jack wanted nothing to do with sitting in his lap! He stopped crying and just sat there but would NOT look up at any of us! Luckily we did get a picture of the family with Santa (Thank goodness! I have to get Christmas cards out!)
It is almost nap time for the Leonards! We are worn out but very happy with our festive activities! Next weekend Grandbubba and Aunt Denise will be here to celebrate! How fun!!!!
Happy Holiday season! Check out our new pictures!

Red Carpet in Vegas!

Well, you would think we were some really important people after the weekend we had! Steven and I went to Las Vegas on Thursday morning and got back Saturday night! It was lots of fun! It was my first time to Vegas and Steven's 3rd...however, the other times were strictly work related and not as fun for him! We stayed at Wynn Las Vegas. It is the only 5 star 5 Diamond hotel in the United States. It was incredibly nice! Definitely a place we would not have been staying if the Leonards were paying! Hahahah!
Thursday we walked around most of the big hotels and casinos. It was a really nice day for us...however, when they say it's a long way to walk ...they mean it! You could walk for 20 minutes and still be in front of the same hotel! Needless to say, my feet were killing me!!!
That night we went to La Reve (the show at Wynn) and then to dinner at the Country Club (a restaurant in Wynn). It was awesome! We went with some other AMS people!
Friday, Steven had meetings most of the day...one of them being a meeting where he was honored as Salesman of the Year for AMS! VERY PROUD OF HIM!!!! Teri and I went to the spa and had massages and hung out in the jacuzzi! We followed it up with sushi for lunch! Fabulous morning! Steven finished up around 3pm and we had drinks at the outside patio at Wynn by the big water wall! SO FUN! Then it was time to get all fancy for the big party! As we walked down the corridor to the ballroom (before we got to the red carpet) there were people lined up to watch! Of course, we weren't anyone they were looking for but still was really cool! We walked down the red carpet to the ceremony! It was really neat! Quite the production!!! Brooks & Dunn opened it up and Frank Caliendo was the host! After the ceremony there was a party next door at LAVO (a nightclub in the Palazzo). We really had a great time!
We enjoyed our morning at home just the two of us! WE drank coffee and Steven made a fire! WE ran a few errands and then Poppa brought Jack home this afternoon! We were soooooooo happy to see him! We really really missed him, but he had a great weekend with Granny and Poppa! He just loves being with them! AND he got to spend some good time with cousin Anna! We are blessed to have such a great family!
Now starts the Christmas madness!!! Lots of plans between now and Christmas for the Leonards but we are so excited!!! Two visits with Santa, Dinner Club, Grandbubba and Denise coming, family get togethers and making cookies!!! Loving the holiday season!!
Check out all of our pictures...there are several albums so don't miss any!

Thanksgiving, Christmas Trees, and a big change of plans!

Going to pick out a tree!

Picking out the Christmas Tree!!!
Daddy and Jack hanging out at the low country boil!

Jack and Daddy went for a walk...and a little adventure!

Jack's Thanksgiving dinner!
The Leonard family on Thanksgiving!

We had a really great Thankgiving this year! However, it was not completely stress free! Our nice close (very little driving) Thankgiving took a sharp change in direction on Wednesday! Long story short... Jack had an ear infection and therefore it was not a great idea to be around his younger cousins.... so instead of spend Thankgiving alone....what did we do? We drove to Savannah on Wednesday night at 9pm! Quite the adventure! We got to Aunt Sally's around 1am that night (or technically Thanksgiving morning!) We surprised Great Granny and settled in for a good night's sleep! Jack was an angel! He slept the whole way and went right into his pack n play when we got there! Luckily the ear infection did not slow him down!
We watched the Macy's parade in the morning and then headed down to the river to Mimi and Papa Frank's house to celebrate with the Floyd family! It was wonderful! Then back to Aunt Sally's for dinner that night! We got lots of good family time in and lots of good food!
We stayed for the rest of the weekend so we could celebrate Great Granny's (Gigi) 85th birthday with the family! There was a lunch for the women that day and a low country boil at Aunt Laura and Uncle Steve's that night! You really can't beat that!
We got home around noon on Sunday and after nap time we headed to get the Leonard Family Christmas tree! The house is completely decorated and we love it! We will be working on "looking at the tree and not touching the tree"!!! Hopefully that will go well! When Jack got up this morning and saw it all lit up...he said "WHOA!!! TREE!!!!" Too cute! He really talked so much this weekend! He called everyone by their name and carried on quite the conversations! It was so much fun!
It is officially the Christmas season and we are loving it!
