Just hanging out in my new chair!

Well, somehow it happened again...we are packing up all the North Pole houses and beautiful Santas into their styrofoam again... that happened really quickly! I am literally out of breath from carrying the ornament boxes up and down the stairs... Jack is quietly sleeping (he is absolutely worn out), Daddy is driving Great Granny to Macon to meet my cousin, and I am downloading pictures and trying to get up the motivation to take down the ornaments! We officially "de"-Christmased yesterday for the most part except the tree. Granny was here to help keep Jack entertained while we worked! It's funny how early we want everything out to enjoy it and how quickly we are ready to see it come down after Christmas!
It was truly another magical Christmas for us. From the first bits of the holiday through leftovers last night..it's been great! Jack was so much fun this year and we continued some traditions from years before (Santa at Phipps, monkey bread on Christmas morning, baking sugar cookies, cooking a beef tenderolin for Christmas Eve, spending Christmas Eve evening at our neighbors house, smoking a turkey on the Big Green Egg for Chrismas Day, having family to our house on Christmas Day, Christmas Dinner Club, Breakfast with Santa with neighbors) and definitely added several new ones (Edward the Elf came to visit us this holiday - Jack LOVED him, decorating a gingerbread house together, watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" about 100 times)! We were very fortunate and blessed to spend so much time with family and friends this year. It's very overwhelming to reflect on this past year and how amazing it has been for us. How much fun to think of what next year will be bring! Last year, Jack was just learning to crawl and eat new things...this year he is running around non-stop, talking up a storm, playing, hugging, kissing, and dog-piling with his best friends!
Thank you to everyone that has kept up with our little family this year on our blog and thank you to all of our friends and family that give so much love to us throughout the year. We feel so very blessed and loved!
I would go on and on about all of our Christmas plans, but I will let you see for yourself in all the new pictures!
