Whoa! Jack got splashed!

Trying to hold down a shooting fountain!

SO much fun!

Playing in the pool in Nunno and Poppa's backyard! That's a pool ring he put on his head!

BIG SPLASH POPPA! Throwing rocks in the creek!

Find a big rock for me Poppa!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend! Daddy was in Charlotte for the majority of the time but got home last night in time to tuck Jack in for bed! We were very happy to have him home! Jack and I spent Thursday night with the Coopers! It's always fun to see he and Caroline play together. Jack told me several times the next day, "Have fun with Caroline!"
Friday morning we headed to Gainesville to play with Poppa! We went to the park where Jack went for a long walk and saw several bridges. We also stopped for Poppa and Jack to play in the creek and throw lots of rocks in the water! The splashes were a hit! Jack had a great time! Then we headed to lunch for a hotdog! Nunno got home in time to help give Jack and bath and read books! Saturday, Jack got lots of good time with Nunno and they went for a walk! We all went to a water park that afternoon and Jack had so much fun! Gainesville has the neatest water park for kids!
Sunday we got up and headed back home! However, it was not without a stop by Scottish Rite to have Jack's bug bites checked out. Jack got bit by some mosquitos on Friday playing in the backyard. They really got swolen and were not better by Sunday morning. So, more for my peace of mind I think, I took him by Scottish Rite to have someone look at them. They seemed to be very big and I was worried they were going to get infected. BUT they looked fine and Jack took some Benadryl and they are SOOOO much better! Luckily, they didnt bother him very much! But they worried me!
Today we had a great day at home with Daddy! A big breakfast and lots of time building towers with Jack's new blocks! We headed back to the Coopers for a Dinner Club with friends and it was so much fun! It's always a good feeling to leave good friends after a fun time! Now, back to reality and the work week!

Jack is....

Hey Blue Eyes!

Fun in the yard on Sunday morning! Jack played with bubbles for an hour!

I love my Daddy! Fun Saturday nights in the backyard!

"CHEESE!" (Yes, I say this for most pictures!)

Smelling the flowers... "no touch flowers!"

I gave lots of kisses this weekend!

I can't help myself! They are the cutest buns in the world!

.....going to be a big brother!!! For those of you that have not heard, we are pregnant with our second baby! We are beyond thrilled and after a VERY trying first trimester, we are feeling much better and getting more excited everyday! I will have to thank my amazing husband for taking such good care of us these past several weeks. I have been struggling with fatigue and nausea...pretty much 24 hours a day! BUT it's gotten much better and Steven has been amazing! (I am sure this is not news to anyone...he is always amazing to us) I am sure the one or two home cooked meals I have made in the last week were a welcome change!
Baby #2 is due November 30th! It's just so exciting! :) We feel very blessed and can't wait to meet our new little angel!

We have had a busy Spring and have enjoyed playing outside lots! We had a fantastic visit with Sally and John this weekend! They were here from Friday-Monday and it was great! Sally is an amazing help with Jack and EVERYTHING else! She cooked great breakfasts for us and entertained Jack a ton! Cleaned the kitchen and made lunch! It was awesome! Not to mention that it was just great company! Steven and I slept in until about 9am Saturday and Sunday!!! You will notice from the pictures that Jack was giving out LOTS of kisses and hugs this weekend! We will take those all day long!
Daddy is headed to Charlotte this weekend for four days and we are going to visit Nunno and Poppa (As you can imagine, Jack is THRILLED about going up there! He loves it there!) It will be nice to have some company over the long weekend with no Daddy!
We finished up Music Class on Friday and Jack really enjoyed it again! It's our 4th session and I am sure we will do it again this Fall! He is really loving singing these days and sings along to all his songs! Jack is doing great with his counting, colors, shapes, and flash cards. It's amazing to watch him learn! While he can't "read"...he has most of his favorite books memorized and a lot of times will read along with us! He still loves his books over most anything! He has been such a sweet boy and we are really enjoying watching him grow! We just can't believe we have this littler person that lives with us! He continues to amaze us everyday!
Lots of things to be happy about in the Leonard house! We are growing our little family!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

The WHOLE family! Getting bigger!

Happy Birthday Anna!

Sisters and the babies!

Jack loving his first train ride!

Ohmigosh! There's Thomas!

Friends helping friends!

Poppa with the birthday girl!

Well....let's just say April was a little crazy in the Leonard house! Sorry for not posting more last month, but we were on the go all the time! We had a great month! Jack's birthday, lots of family company in town, Georgia Tech class winding down, a trip to Philadelphia for a wedding, birthday parties, and more! Whew! It was fun, but looking forward to a little bit slower May!
This month has started out great! We went to see Thomas last weekend in Chattanooga! Jack loved it and he really enjoyed his first train ride! We have been playing outside most all the time! The weather has been wonderful and Jack still loves to play outside! Steven and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on Friday. Poppa came to get Jack Friday morning..they went to music and headed to Gainesville to spend the night with Nunno and Caitlin! They had a great time (Jack LOVES going to Nunno and Poppa's house...which we love too!) I had a wonderful Friday to myself! I got a manicure and pedicure, watched some TV and spent a quiet night with my sweet husband! It was perfect! Saturday morning was nice and slow and then we headed to Anna's first birthday party! I can't believe she is a year old! She was a perfect birthday girl and the whole family was there to celebrate! It was a very happy day!
We spent Saturday evening with Jack's best buddy Lauren! The kids played in her new pool in the backyard while the adults sat around and chatted! Perfect evening!
Today I slept in and the boys went to pick up yummy biscuits for breakfast! When I came downstairs, Jack had on the cutest "I love Mom" T-shirt that Nunno made!!! He yelled, "YAY Mommy! Happy Mother's Day!" It was too sweet! We played outside lots, all took a nap, and went to mexican for dinner! It was a great Mother's Day for me! I love a day with my boys!
Jack is moving classes next Tuesday! He will be in the Senior Toddler class at school! I am excited for him and he will be with two really good buddies...Andrew and Tessa! I bet he will love it! He continues to grow up so fast! He talks to us constantly about everything he is doing and we love it! It's amazing to watch him grow and learn.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there and especially all the ones that have made such an impact in my life! Happy Day to all!
