North Georgia Fall Weekend

October is always FULL of fun Fall activities...and we are not disappointing this year either! Jack and Lucy headed up to Gainesville on Thursday night with Poppa to start the weekend! (I had been in Washington DC most of the week for training and stayed an extra night to see Ansley! It was so awesome! Everytime I see her it makes me realize how much I miss her! I had the best time playing with sweet Hagan and Tom!) Steven and I got up there Friday early evening. Poppa, Daddy, Jack and I headed to the GHS football game! We were excited for Jack to cheer on the Red Elephants for the first time! We had fun and cheered on the team! Jack was fascinated with the football players, the band ...and the cheerleaders (Oh..I am not ready for that!)

GOOOOOO Big Red!

Enjoying a hotdog at a Friday night football game

Saturday we got up and headed to Jae-Mor Farms for some fun and lunch! Jack went down a big slide, hopped on some ponies, had a hotdog, shared a funnel cake and checked out the pumpkins!

Riding high with Poppa!

Loved the big slide!

Look at my teeth!

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the Georgia Tech football game and playing in the backyard. The boys even played some of their own football! Too cute! Lucy was there to clap for them!
I love the magnets just like my brother!

Hanging out in the yard watching the boys play football! Jack stopped in the middle of the game and said, "I will go get Lucy some toys!" (He ran into to get her some things to play with! Such a sweet big brother!)

Hey everyone! I love to wave! Mommy made my Georgia Tech dress!

Tackle Poppa!

Getting away from Daddy! Go Jack!

Oh no!!! Jack going down!

So cute! OF COURSE neither are looking!

We headed out early this morning for Burt's Farm! It is our 4th year going with Poppa and Nunno and we look forward to it all year! We got there early enough to beat the BIG crowds and spent lots of time checking out all the different pumpkins! Lucy LOVED cruising around the big pumpkins! We loved the hayride as always..again, I think Lucy enjoyed it more than anyone! She stood up and hung on and smiled the whole time! We had a yummy picnic (THANKS to Nunno!) of homemade chicken fingers, pimento cheese sandwiches, deviled eggs, chips, fruit, sugar cookies and treats! We sat right next to the creek again and Jack wanted to check it out and throw some rocks in the water! The weather was awesome and it was so much fun as always! We decided to try something new after we left Burt's. We headed up the road to Ellijay to Hillcrest Farms. It is a big apple farm with LOTS of activities! We saw our first pig race, Jack milked a cow name Buttercup, went down another big slide, we had another funnel cake and watched some local cloggers (yes, very entertaining!). We all headed back to Gville to get cleaned up and packed to come back home. We got home and the kiddos were in bed early! It was a big weekend!

Jack ran right to a HUGE pumpkin and tried to pick it up!

Again...super cute (but NOT LOOKING!) I will get the picture one day! Mommy and Nunno made our outfits!

Jack is the sweetest big brother!

We just love this weekend each year. It's become such a special and FUN tradition! We are very grateful to share it with Poppa and Nunno! Lucy's first year was so much fun! We can't wait to go again next year! Only 52 more weeks to go!

Check out ALL our pictures! Lots of them!
