Father's Day, Slobber and Patios

We are thankful everyday for the fathers in our lives. Steven is the most amazing husband, daddy and friend that anyone could ever ask for. I am the luckiest girl in the world that he is mine! He is kind, caring, gentle, honest, funny, patient (at least with me and the kids!), and loving! Not too bad to look at either! :) He is such a rock for our little family of four and always makes sure that we keep us first and have quality time together!  I wake up smiling everyday because he is beside me!
Poppa, Grandbubba and Papa Tillie are such amazing fathers and grandfathers. We are fortunate to have such amazing men in our children's lives to teach them and play with them! Thank you so much for all you do to make our lives so special!

We started our weekend Friday night at the pool with lots of neighbors! Jack is loving practicing all the things from his swimming lessons! We celebrated Father's Day by grilling out and playing in the backyard on Saturday night with Grandbubba and Aunt Neese.  It was such a fun night!

We woke up the next morning and headed to the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain! We had another really great time there! We got SLOBBERED by all the animals and everyone had a blast! It's always fun and funny to see the animals be so aggressive!

Getting in our safari van!

Cute babies with Daddy t-shirts on from Nunno!!

Well hello Mr. Zebra!

About to feed the giraffe!

Yep...that's a Buffalo's tongue in the driver's seat.. .YUCK!

WHOA!

Lucy wanted to drive toward the end....She literally pushed Steven's hands off the wheel. She is VERY opinionated and independent!

Feeding the llamas!

Hey little llama!

Grandbubba and Aunt Neese headed back home that afternoon and we spent the rest of the day running around the backyard and playing! Steven and I put the kids to bed and had a patio night. We sat outside talking and grilled steaks. We ate outside and enjoyed the last night on the old patio...LOTS of memories and nights out there! It was great to have some more time at home this weekend!

Today was very exciting because the construction (or demolition!) for our new patio started this morning. The kids LOVED watching them pull up our old concrete patio. We can't wait for it to be done!!! It's VERY exciting! I will take some pictures along the way of the progress. We will get LOTS of time in on the new patio this summer!
