Granny was in town all week with us and we had the best visit! The kids loved her being around! She got to celebrate with us and some good friends on Wednesday night (Jack's actual birthday). We had pizza and cookie cake on the deck!
We had some good friends and family over on Saturday to break in the new house and celebrate Jack! Jack requested everything to be Spiderman so we did our best to accommodate! We had some decorations and Grandbubba gave him a Spiderman bike! Everyone played outside in the GORGEOUS weather (even though the great weather came with a layer of yellow pollen!). We spent the whole day outside in the backyard and then capped off the day with the Stephens on the downstairs patio. It was just perfect! So perfect that we even decided to break in the hot tub! It was just too fun! Steven felt the need to jump in the pool too (NO WAY I was getting in that COLD water)!
Lucy enjoyed the party as much as Jack! She has loved helping celebrate and sing all week! The birthday party actually turned into a fashion show for Lucy for a little while. Avery and Hannah (the BIG girls) were helping get Princess Lucy dressed up to come out for a fashion show. Lucy LOVED the attention! She would waltz out for everyone to ooh and aah at her!
It is a quiet Sunday. We are hoping to watch some of the Masters and enjoy not rushing around! Let's hope the kiddos think this is a good idea too! Lots of pictures today! (See a theme? We are spending LOTS of time in the backyard!!!)
