I haven't posted new pictures in a while...so this update is just from January and the beginning of February! We had a great weekend in Gainesville visiting with Nunno and Poppa. Jack absolutely LOVES his Nunno and Poppa! He had so much fun with them! We also had a great visit with Hossie! Jack gave her big hugs when we left and has not stopped talking about Hossie since we left! Jack also got to go eat dinner at "The Hat" Saturday night... He really enjoyed the cheese dip! He actually is loving to "dip dip" most anything these days!
Jack is too funny right now! He is enjoying singing with us most of the time...sometimes he will shake his head and say "no" if we start singing a song he doesnt want to sing with us! However, we are working very hard at "no thank you"... he is getting better at it but it can be a struggle. He is definitely developing an opinion on what songs he likes to listen to and his favorite books...all good areas to work on "no thank you"! We welcome an opinion as long as it's polite! He is really getting a little mind of his own! Overall he is a very sweet boy who says please and thank you most of the time! He usually says "thank you mommy" most every night at dinner...He also insists on saying our prayers at meal time!
He also loves singing "Baa Baa Black Sheep" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider"! He actually put on quite a show last night at Nunno and Poppa's before bedtime. He sang and watched himself in the mirror! We have no self esteem issues at this time! Jack also counted to 10 this weekend! He has done it a few times now and it is very exciting for us!!!!!
Daddy is headed to Daytona this week and Gigi is coming up from Savannah to keep up company! We can't wait for her to get here!!!
On my news... Steven surprised me with an Amazon Kindle this week! I AM IN HEAVEN! I just love it and have had a hard time putting it down (It's basically an Ipod for books and I love to read!) I also completed another class on Wednesday night at Tech. Turner is teaching an entire semester class at Georgia Tech in the Building construction program and I am working on organizing that class as well as teaching a couple of them. It is going well and is really exciting! I have enjoyed staying involved at Georgia Tech.
Check out our new pictures!
