Fall Fun Continues!

Whew! It's half way through October and we have been packing in the Fall FUN!!!! It is such a beautiful time of year and Jack likes pointing out the trees changing colors and we love playing outside (without sweating!!!)

Aunt Neese came to stay with us for a weekend and it was so much fun! She loved playing with the kids and they loved her being here! She got to see Jack play T-ball and we went to the North Georgia State Fair! Jack and Lucy got to ride several fun rides! Jack and Aunt Neese went on the REALLY TALL ferris wheel! We also took Jack to his first big movie! Neese stayed with Lucy and we got to take Jack to see Finding Nemo in 3D! We got popcorn and treats and Jack was so excited! He points out every movie theater he sees now and wants to know when we are going back!

We made our annual trip to the Greek Festival with the Coopers and even stayed for a spend the night party at their house! We always think that is fun and the kids think it is special too! We got to wake up together and the kids played outside and then we headed to a park for some more fun!

We have been to the zoo a few times recently too in the beautiful weather! We have had some fun cook outs with friends on the patio (we are still LOVING the new patio!)

This weekend was our big Burt's Farm weekend! We look forward to it all year and it never disappoints! The weekend started on Friday with a fun trip to the park with the kiddos and a fun lunch in the backyard with Lauren and Will! We had some fun friends over that night for pizza too! Saturday morning we got up and Jack had his t-ball game and then we headed to Gainesville to spend the rest of the weekend with Poppa and Nunno! We spent the afternoon at Mule Camp Market (Gainesville's Fall Festival)! The kiddos got to get on some fun rides and of course got to enjoy a funnel cake (or TWO!) We spent the evening in the backyward with Poppa grilling some BBQ Chicken and Jack running races! He wanted to race everyone or even by himself for time! It was such a fun evening! We got up early this morning and headed to Burt's! We get there early to beat the INSANE crowds! The kids were so excited to run around and look at all the big pumpkins! Jack kept trying to find "the one"! He would say, "OH yeah...this one this one!!" And of course, Lucy would run right behind him shouting the same thing! The hayride was awesome as always! We made it home with 5 pumpkins! After we left the pumpkin farm, we had a fun picnic on the bank of a creek! Nunno always makes the BEST picnic! We headed home and played in the afternoon (Mommy and Daddy passed out in the living room...we are exhausted!) and then went to a park to have some pictures made of our little family! I can NOT wait to see how they turned out! It's always nice to get some of all of us (And by that I mean with me in them!)

Daddy and I also squeezed in a fun date night a couple of weeks ago! Poppa and Nunno took the babies after the t-ball game and we got to spend the afternoon and evening together! We had a fun night out with a great dinner, acoustic music and fun drinks! It was so great to spend some time just us!

This is our favorite time of year and we love all the fun memories we are making!!!
