Halloween, Birthdays and MORE running!

We had a really fun Halloween in the neighborhood this year! It is always a reminder of how great our friends and neighbors are around here! We all met for a fun happy hour party around 5pm and then all the kiddos headed out together to trick-or-treat! Jack ran from house to house so excited about each treat he got! I know he had to be exhausted from all the running! Lucy went to a couple of houses but then preferred to be pushed around by Daddy in the stroller (Can you say wrapped around his finger?)  He would push her all the way to the doors! Ha! She got plenty of treats too! We got back home and all sat outside at the front door and handed out some more candy! Jack and Lucy each picked two treats out of their bag to enjoy! Lucy always wants a lollipop and Jack picked a Baby Ruth and Skittles!

Spiderman!

An attempt at a picture of them together! Ha!

We also enjoyed a trip to Boo at the Zoo last weekend (It was so cold!!)  The kids loved seeing so many costumes and always love seeing the animals! Jack asked to only be referred to as "Spiderman" while he was in costume! I love it! He would randomly dart out ahead of us or jump to the side. He really got into his character this year! Their was a candy thief story on the train ride and he told us that he was the one that actually caught the candy thief! He was always looking out for "trouble"!

This Saturday we headed up to Aunt Jenn and Uncle John's house to celebrate Caitin's 3rd birthday and Jake's 2nd birthday. It's always fun when we can all get together to play! The kids love it and so do Nunno and Poppa! We ate lots of cake, played outside and ran around! We spent most of the afternoon out there just enjoying some relaxed time with the family! It was a happy celebration!

Nunno and Poppa with their babies! (Let me tell you...this is not the easiest thing to get 5 under 5 to cooperate!)

Aunt Jenn and Uncle John with their sweet baby! 3 years old! (Aunt Katie made her birthday dress! I was so honored she wore it!)

Lots of playing!

Lots of playing with leaves!!!

He is up to something!

It's raining leaves!!!!!

So... as far as the running (this won't be a constant thing) but I ran in TWO races yesterday.  I ran a 10K with my gym (Total Fitness Revolution) and a 5K that night with Jennifer! It was really fun!!!! I had the best time spending the evening with Jennifer! It was her first 5K and I was so excited to do it with her!! It was "Night of the Running Zombies 5K" in Alpharetta. Half of the runners were human and half were zombies. It was a very dark course and zombies jumped out at you and were running all around you! We went and had dinner and a drink afterwards and had a really fun time! SOOOO proud of her! I am strugging to walk today but it will get better! Ha!

Before!!!!

AND AFTER!!!! SO proud!
