Great Report!

We took both kids for their well visits yesterday! That was one long visit with Dr. G! Very glad that Steven and I were both there because that would have been a little overwhelming with both of them! The kids looked great and he was so happy with both of them! Jack took his doctor kit with him and was excited about Dr. G getting there (I know.. a 3 year old that isnt scared of the doctor!) Dr. G walked in..
Jack: "I have a dinosaur shirt!"
Dr. G "What color is that dinosaur?"
Jack: "Green!"
Dr. G: "What kind of dinosaur is that?"
Jack: "A Herbivore!"  (that is an animal that eats plants)

Dr. G just laughed! Apparently most 3 year olds dont know the word "herbivore"! It was pretty funny and why Jack said that instead of Brochiasaurus we aren't sure. We do talk about carnivores and herbivores with him but it was pretty funny!
Jack did great with his exam! He used his stethoscope to help Dr. G. He opened his mouth and let him look in his ears and did great! Lucy was a champ too! When Dr. G listened to her chest...Jack came over and did the same thing to "help" out! He told us that Dr. G is not a stranger too. He is very much into that lately. We hve been talking more and more about strangers.
Both physical exams were perfect and both kids are meeting all their milestones. Jack weighed 34 pounds (75%) and was 38.5 inches tall (75%). Lucy weighed 12lbs. 12oz. (30%) and was 24.5 in. (50%).  Lucy is keeping the tradition with a small head! Both kids have had a 25% head! They are both growing great and we are so proud of them! We got the go ahead to start food with Lucy! We will probably start in a few weeks. I just can NOT believe that she is that age! OH my little baby is growing up!
Jack got no shots and no finger prick! (That helped!!!) They did take his blood pressure for the first time and it was just fine. Lucy got 3 shots and one oral vaccine! She did pretty well with them, but it is still hard to see them stick her. She cried so hard but once I picked her up she was fine! She did great sleeping last night and was happy this morning, so hopefully they aren't bothering her too much!

Way to go Jack and Lucy! We are so proud of yall!
